ORALIMAGEN helps you achieve a beautiful smile in a non-invasive way. Dental veneers are sheets that adhere to dental enamel, without excessively modifying the original shape of the patient's tooth. They fit snugly and can be made of resin or porcelain as the dentist deems necessary.
Veneers:
Oralimagen helps you to achieve a beautiful smile in a minimally invasive way. Dental veneers are sheets that adhere to the tooth enamel, without excessively modifying the original shape of the patient's tooth. They fit perfectly, are strong and can be made with resin or porcelain, as the dentist considers most appropriate.
Veneers are thin sheets of porcelain or resin, approximately 0.3 - 1 mm thick, which are placed covering the entire front surface of the teeth. They are strongly bonded to the tooth by means of a special adhesive. The bond is so strong that once placed they cannot be removed unless the veneer is broken. They are mainly used to mask anomalies of tooth colour that cannot be treated by conventional bleaching. They are also used to conceal alterations in the size or shape of the teeth, giving the tooth a more ideal appearance.
Cases in which we use veneers:
Resin veneers
Dental resin veneers are very thin films composed of nanoparticles with high fluorescence that improve the appearance of the tooth; correcting the size, position and color.
Dental veneers are the fastest way to correct the smile, without causing pain or discomfort to the patient. They are manufactured directly over the front layer of the tooth with minimal preparation of the enamel. They are performed in approximately 1 or 2 appointments.
The resins used at Oralimagen are of the latest generation and are composed of nanoparticles that provide high aesthetics, due to the fact that their brightness and translucency is very similar to that of a natural tooth. In addition, these resins have fluorescence, i.e the capacity to appear natural in any type of light (sun, light bulbs, disco lights, etc).
These veneers have a duration in the mouth of approximately 3 to 5 years. It is necessary to have them polished approximately once per year to avoid pigmentation, fracturing, and color change.

Veneers or Ceramic Lenses
At Oralimagen we handle Ceramic Lenses that are a new alternative in the field of Dental Aesthetics. With them, we manage to replace the generation of conventional resins to obtain more smoothness in the mouth.
The Ceramic Lenses are extensions of the dental enamel of 0.2 mm of thickness and with them we can obtain more expressive and captivating smiles. It is a minimally invasive technique, does not require anesthesia and lasts for approximately 15 years.
We must keep in mind that smile designs are different for each person. In women, curvilinear shapes are given, leaving the central teeth a little more elongated, to achieve a slight curvature when smiling. In men the shapes are more square to achieve strong and compact features.
Time Required in the City of Medellin to Complete the Procedure of Ceramic Veneers:
You need a minimum of around 7 days in the city of Medellín. Before proceeding with the process we complete a planning and diagnostic predetermination where we begin by taking a photographic study, study models, x-rays and if necessary we request that a laboratory produces a wax design of the veneers for the patient, together with a specialist to approve it or make any suggestions for changes they consider necessary.
