Teeth Whitening:
To achieve better results, at Oralimagen we personalize the whitening process and technique, adapting it to the needs of each patient. For this reason, we offer two types of whitening: laser and trays, although both techniques can be combined to achieve better results.
Laser Whitening
A laser is a beam of light that travels through an optical fiber and smoothly impacts the surface of the tooth. It is a safe procedure, as it does not heat the tooth, does not damage the gums and its pH level is neutral. All of this means that it is not a painful procedure. On some occasions, certain people may experience a little sensitivity during or following the procedure, but this sensation does not last for more than a couple of hours and can be resolved by taking a painkiller.
Two types of lasers can be used. The advantage of using a laser is that it solves different problems that arise in the bleaching procedure, because the laser energy has the potential to catalyze the reaction, having greater control over the process. Also, it only takes between a day or two to carry out the procedure.
Whitening with Cubets
A dental bleaching that is carried out using a chemical solution, which is dispensed in trays with the exact mold of your teeth. This whitening is done at home under precise instructions. In one day we will make the molds and we will give you the whitening so that you can take them home with all of our instructions to complete your whitening treatment over the course of approximately 4 weeks.
Combined Whitening
This procedure is the most recommended by us since when combining the 2 whitening techniques (laser and trays) excellent results are obtained and its duration can be of 5 years or more, depending on the care that the patient takes of their teeth.
The duration of the procedure is approximately 1 month, alternating a weekly visit to the dentist to perform the laser whitening session and using the trays daily for 2 hours with the whitening gel designed for each patient. This treatment requires a lot of discipline on the part of the patient, but in the end you will obtain very satisfactory results and beautiful white teeth.
